    Instructions

    Things You'll Need

    • Soft cloths or Chamois
    • • Soap and Water
    • • Glass or Stainless Steel Cleaner
      • 1

Determine what your gazing globe is made from. You will want to use a cleaner specific to the material your globe consists of, to prevent streaking on the reflective service. Most globes are made of glass or stainless steel.

      • 2

If your gazing globe is on a decorative stand, remove the globe and wipe dirt from stand with soap and water.

      • 3

Wipe excess dirt from surface of ball with a clean chamois. This may be enough to enhance the ball’s shine. If the ball is still dirty or cloudy, proceed to step four.

      • 4

Spray surface of ball with appropriate cleaner and wipe clean with chamois. Follow the directions on the cleaner carefully to prevent streaking or staining.

      • 5

Make sure ball is dry before replacing it on stand. Leaving moisture or drops of cleaner on the gazing globe might leave spots or streaks.

    Tips & Warnings

    • White vinegar can be used as an organic alternative to stainless steel cleaner. Just moisten a cloth with the vinegar and polish the gazing globes surface by rubbing in a circular motion.

    • If you are using a glass or stainless steel cleaner you aren’t familiar with, try cleaning a small section of the ball first to make sure it won’t react negatively with the material of the ball. If the cleaner leaves a spot, discontinue use and try another product.
