      Open Adobe Photoshop CS3 on your computer.

      Open the file you want to edit by clicking on "File" and "Open," then searching for a saved file on your computer. If you are creating a new file, go to "File" and then "New" and a box will appear. Enter the title of your file in this box.

      Click the "A" icon from the navigator tool on the right. This icon stands for "Character Tool," which you can use for typing letters and adjusting the font. A window will pop open showing a couple of tabs, one for "Character" and one for "Paragraph." The "Character" tab is where you can make changes to the font style, size, sharpness and even color.

      Adjust the font shape or style by clicking the drop-down box underneath the word "Character" to reveal several options.

      Adjust font color by clicking on the "Color" box. This will give you different colors and shades to choose from.

      Click on "Color Libraries," then type a color name to select it on a color list or slide the arrows on the color bar. Click "OK."

  • You can also use the color swatch on the right side panel when choosing colors.
