Making a good impression at work can make the difference on whether you still have a job tomorrow or not. Don't be the person without a job simply because your employer got the wrong impression of you.

      Whatever rules are administrated at work, try to follow them as best you can. You might think this is a given, but being on time, shaving every day or not showing a revealing tattoo is harder than it sounds. A person now and then stands out by being the only one who actually follows the rules.

      Know what you are to the company. If you know that you are the leader of the pack or that you’re the guy who likes to be a hard worker but doesn’t like the responsibility, knowing your one of these people will help you decide how to show off your skills.

      Accentuate the positives and conceal the negatives. If you are the kind of person who is a fast and efficient worker but doesn’t like to get on others cases, then try to lead by example and be everywhere you can when you can. Vice versa goes for being the person that knows how to do it right, but doesn’t like to do it herself. You just have to be on top of everyone till it is done.

      Get it done. Whatever you do, you are represented by your work. Even if you flip burgers at a fast food restaurant, then flip them the best and flip them till everyone is fed and your shift is done.
