Slice the pumpkin in quarters, and remove the seeds and pulp. Take the quartered pieces and place them in a large pot full of water.
-
2
Boil the quartered pumpkin for approximately 20 minutes, or until it becomes soft, and then mash using a potato masher.
-
-
3
Add 1 cup of plain yogurt and the juice of 1 lemon, mixing well so that all ingredients are combined.
-
4
Get into the shower or another location that you can apply the mashed pumpkin mixture. Use the mixture over your entire body and leave it on for at least 10 minutes.
-
5
Use the pumpkin mixture in the hair as well for a moisturizing hair treatment. Allow the pumpkin mixture to sit on the hair for 10 to 15 minutes. Massage the scalp for additional relaxation, and make sure the pumpkin mixture has fully coated the hair. It is best to use the mixture before shampooing to avoid excess buildup in the hair.
-
6
Shower to rinse off the mixture. Shampoo the mixture out of your hair, and then follow up with a conditioner if desired. Be sure to wash completely so that no pumpkin is left on your body, and pat the skin dry. Follow up with a moisturizer to keep the skin soft and supple.
