The hit movie series of "Spiderman" starring Tobie McGuire spawned at least three video game tie-ins for the XBox 360. While critics cover the board on whether or not the games are hits, they have been big sellers with players. Spiderman 3 is the latest in the line of web-swinging adventure. Knowing certain tips and steps on your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man will help you put Venom and the Sandman down for good.

1. Get to know Spiderman's moves. Spidey has quick reflexes, unlimited webbing and great fighting ability. Learn his moves as they are what ultimately decides your fate time and time again. He has punch combos, kicking combos and by using his Spider-Sense you can slow down time which will able you to dodge bullets, strikes and other health-draining attacks.

2. Complete all the missions. Spiderman 3 will give you various missions through out the game. You'll deal with a Chinese street gang, a threat from insane bombers and face off against classic supervillains like the Scorpion and the Kingpin. Each mission has three to four parts, but completing them will give you power-ups, clues to the overall plot and adventures that make you feel like your swinging through the "Big Apple."

3. Upgrade Spiderman's moves as soon as you can. Peter Parker's punches, kicks and swinging can all be upgraded with new additions as you gain points and experience going through the game. Upgrade them as soon as possible, as you'll need the techniques for fighting more enemies at once and for moving quicker through the city.

4. Look for patterns in the Supervillains. While fighting the Scorpion, the Kingpin, the New Goblin and Venom, they all have patterns in their attacks. Learn them and you'll find their fights much easier than the first time around. The Scorpion likes to blast you from afar and then leap up into the bridge cables. The Kingpin likes to charge you and release punch combos in groups of three. The New Goblin strikes from far away with bombs so Spider-Sense is key with him and Venom has nearly unblockable attacks but is weak to you hitting metal.

5. Have good reflexes for the button-tests. A large portion of Spiderman 3 is button-tests, the mid-play cinematics that offer you the chance to hit certain buttons to dodge, strike or avoid danger. They start out simple but the last fight in the game is heavily decided by how fast you can hit the controller's buttons. Get comfortable with these as they will appear repeatedly throughout the game.
