How to Make Your Own Plastic Mold

      Mix the sulpha-plastic thoroughly until it is smooth. You put together 25 parts for graphite and then use 75 parts sulfur.

      Place this mixture over heat. Be sure you have it in a bowl and are not using any open flames when heating the product.

      Once the mixture has melted, it should run like water. Remove the mixture from heat. Be sure that the temperature of the mixture does not go above 235 degrees F. because at 250 degrees F, it becomes a rubber and you'll have to start all over again.

      While in the liquid state, the plastic is ready for you to mold. Find the perfect pattern you want and allow the liquid to do the rest.

Tips & Warnings

  • Sulpho-plastics are extremely flammable, so do not use this for ashtrays or anything that will be near flames.
