Order your NY EZ Pass device online. (Follow the link in Resources.) You must have your vehicle information and a valid credit card. After you complete the registration process, the device will be sent to you at the address specified.

Request an EZ Pass by mail. If you don’t feel comfortable providing your credit card information online, you have the option to download the application from the EZ Pass website. Complete the application and mail it to: Applications & Returned Tags, P.O. Box 149001, Staten Island, NY 10314-9001. Upon receipt and review of the application, they will mail the device to you.

Order your EZ Pass in person. There are currently eight locations you can visit. Scan the listings on the EZ Pass website to find the most convenient location for you.

Purchase an EZ Pass on the go. This is probably the most convenient of all the options. Several New York retailers sell prepackaged devices that have $25 already loaded onto the device. Access the EZ Pass website to see which NY retailer in your area sells EZ Pass on the go. The only stipulation is that you must register your EZ Pass device within 48 hours of its initial use.
