Step 1
Click once on the “Start” menu button which is located on the task bar. Find the “Control panel.” Click once on it. The “Control panel” window will pop up.

Click twice on “Internet options.” The “Internet properties” window will pop up. You will see seven tabs. One tab will have the word “General” on it. The next tab will have the word “Security” on it. “Privacy” will be written on the third tab while “Content” will be written on the fourth tab. On the fifth tab, “Connections” will be written. The sixth tab will have the word “Programs” on it while the seventh tab will have the word “Advanced” written on it.

Click once on the “General” tab. You will see five subheadings. The first subheading will be “Home page” while the second one will be “Browsing history.” “Search” will be the third subheading. “Tabs” will be fourth subheading while “Appearance” will be the last subheading.

Step 4
Click on the “Accessibility” button. The “Accessibility” window will pop up. You will see two sections. One will be termed “Formatting” while the other will be entitled “User style sheet.”

Step 5
Look under the “Formatting” section. You will see the following three options with small squares to the left of the options: “Ignore colors specified on web page,” “Ignore font styles specified on web pages” and “Ignore font sizes specified on web pages.”

Step 6
Click inside the small square to select “Ignore font styles specified on web pages.” Click “OK” at the bottom of the “Accessibility” window. Your computer will now ignore the font styles on web pages.
