How to cure swimmer's ear using baby oil

Swimmer’s ear is a fungal infection which affects the ear canal. It causes pain and inflammation in the ear. The main cause of swimmer’s ear is moistness. Baby oil can also be used to treat the swimmer's ear.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Baby Oil
  • Ear Dropper
  • Cotton
  1. Step 1

    Take some baby oil and heat it.

  2. Step 2

    After it's warmed a bit pour it into the ears with the help of a ear dropper and place a cotton ball to avoid draining of the oil.

  3. Step 3

    Consult your doctor if your condition doesn't improve within 24 hours.

Tips & Warnings
  • Apply oil before getting in the pool to avoid water flushing in the ear.
  • Avoid poking the ear with sharp objects or your fingers.
