How to Decorate a Driveway for Halloween

Halloween is all about spooks and scares, and this Halloween driveway decoration idea will leave them telling all of their friends about your Halloween home. Here is the best way to decorate your driveway this Halloween.

Things You'll Need

• Jack-o'-lantern
• Flame-less candles
• White paper bags
• Fake webbing
• CD player
• Spooky CD
• Rocking chair
• Scarecrow costume

Instructions

1. Carve out the largest, scariest pumpkin you possibly can to put at the end of the driveway. Nothing sets the mood for Halloween like an excellent jack-o'-lantern. Light it up with flameless candles.

2. Place several flameless candles inside Halloween-decorated white paper bags. Have your kids decorate the bags with jack-o'-lantern patterns, ghosts and goblins.

3. Use lots of fake webbing in the trees and bushes that line your driveway. If you do not have trees and bushes, place the webbing around the bags and connect them. This will give the illusion of a ground full of spider webs.

4. Set up a CD player that to play spooky sounds or music. Hide the CD player behind some bushes.

5. Put out a rocking chair and dress up like a scarecrow. Use lots of straw and spend some time to make yourself truly look fake. Sit very still in the rocking chair and scare the older kids as they walk up.
