Step by step easy instructions on how to decoupage. You can use any papers you have on hand to decoupage with.Calenders, wrapping paper, stickers etc. Also decoupage on just about any kind of surface such as wood, glass, plastic etc.Very easy and a lot of fun.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Wooden trays, glass plates or jars, plastics, whatever you would like to decorate.Scissors, any glue that will dry clear.Old magazines, cards, calender, any kind of papers you may have lying around the house
  1. Step 1

Gather all your supplies:trays,plates,papers,glue.scissors.Start cutting out pictures of what you would like to use to decoupage with.It can have a theme or not.

  2. Step 2

Put a thin coat of glue on the back of the paper(you can use your finger or a brush),then place it on the item you are decoupaging on.There is no rhyme or reason to the placement. You will be overlapping papers until the item is covered to your specifications.Let everything dry.

  3. Step 3

Brush on glue over the entire project, let dry.Keep brushing on glue, letting dry between coats. You want all the papers to blend together as if it is one sheet.

Tips & Warnings
  • The best glue I have found for this is Mod-Podge or Elmers glue.Remember the glue has to dry clear.
  • Take a break once in a while. You are breathing glue while working.
