This eHow article will show you how to settle an upset stomach or ease achy eyes.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Chamomile Tea
  • Cotton balls
  1. Step 1

For aching eyes one way to help heal them would be to use chamomile tea. Allow the tea to cool some after brewing it. Place a cotton swab in the tea for each eye in the tea and then place a swab over each eye.

  2. Step 2

Relax a while and wait while the Chamomile gets to work. Repeat the cotton swab dunking as necessary. You shouldn't need more than 1 cup of tea for this.

  3. Step 3

For an upset stomach drinking chamomile tea once or twice will help sooth that stomach.

Tips & Warnings
  • Testing the temperature of the tea by placing a drop on your wrist will help you know if it's too hot.
  • If your eyes are still overly achy or painful then consult a doctor. You may need medical attention.

on 8/30/2008 Ahhh great point! You can also use it to aid in sleeping. However, I thought I saw an article like that already so I wanted to keep the info new.
Thanks for the comment though - very much greatly appreciated! :-)

on 8/30/2008 I've used chamomile to put my son to sleep when he was a baby. Good article.
