This is as article that will teach an individual to clean a conventional ceiling fan as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • water
  • soap
  • rug/wet cloth
  1. Step 1
    Removing the safety grill
     
    Removing the safety grill

    1. Remove the safety grill that covers the propellers of the fan. Find the lever on the side of the plastic ring cover and pull it gently downwards.

  2. Step 2
    Removing the screw

    2. Hold the side of the propeller and gently turn the safety screw located at the center of the propeller clockwise. The threads of the ceiling fan is different than other screw threads

  3. Step 3
    Removing the Back Safety Grill
     
    Removing the Back Safety Grill

    3. If you still want to clean the back grill of the propeller, remove it by removing the screws using a screwdriver.

  4. Step 4

    4. Clean the removed parts by using soap and water. Scrub the parts with as brush if the stains are hard to move.

  5. Step 5

    5. While drying the cleaned part, wipe the remaining parts with wet cloths to remove the dusts at the motor part of the fan

  6. Step 6

    6. Return the parts by reversing the steps number 1-3
