If you are planning a family reunion, chances are you will want to order the traditional family reunion t-shirt for the group picture. Custom t-shirts make a good family reunion souvenir and are relatively inexpensive.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Locate an affordable t-shirt screen printer. You may find one in your area, or online. Often there are local companies who design custom t-shirts for community businesses. Sometimes they will give discount rates to family reunion projects, as a good will, public relations gesture, to gain future business on a larger commercial project.

  2. Step 2

When you talk to the screen printer, ask how they want the artwork or logo delivered for the shirt, and if there will be a setup fee. Delivery of the artwork, may influence the total price. Often screen printers charge more for additional ink colors, so be clear with what you want, and how many colors you want on your shirt, when obtaining a price quote. Make sure the printer can deliver in time for the reunion.

  3. Step 3

Design the logo. Remember to include the date of the event, family surname, and graphics that depict the location of the family reunion.

  4. Step 4

Prepare an order sheet for your family members. Include places to note the family member’s name, size of shirt needed, and if a payment has been made.

  5. Step 5

Take orders for the shirts after you know the prices, yet before you place the order with the screen printer. Remember to add in any shipping charges and sales tax that the printer may be charging you.

  6. Step 6

Encourage family members to pre-pay for the shirts, before you place your order.

  7. Step 7

Place your order with the screen printer and deliver the logo. Order a couple of large or extra large shirts, for family members who may decide at the last minute they would like to purchase a shirt. You will use the inventory sheet to tell the printer how many shirts you need, in what sizes.

  8. Step 8

Pick up the completed t-shirt order.

  9. Step 9

At the reunion, pass out the t-shirts to the family members, using your inventory list, and noting on the list when a family member has received their shirt.
