How to Plan a Themed Party or Event

Any event can have a theme

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Decide what theme is best for your event. Examples: Luau; Fiesta; 2nd Prom;

  2. Step 2

    Visit local party stores; Visit party supply web sites; Look through catalogs to gather ideas and purchase items(decorations and music)that coincide with your theme.

  3. Step 3

    Plan for menu to with your theme. Example: If Fiesta theme, have quesidillas, burritos, nachos, and so forth.

  4. Step 4

    Ask guests to dress in accordance with theme.

Tips & Warnings
  • Visit stores in off-seasons, you may be able to find items on clearance.
  • Close-out stores like Big Lots and Garden Ridge are great stores to visit.
