Tequila is a liquor derived from the blue agave plant in Mexico. Once the cactus-like plant has reached 12 years of age, the juice is extracted and steamed. It's then fermented and distilled twice before it becomes tequila. Liquor must contain at least 51% agave to be sold as tequila, with the rest being sugars. Does this Spark an idea?
