How to Make a Brontosaurus Sand Sculpture
Since the first dinosaur bone was found, the ancient creatures have fascinated adults and children all over the world. The paleontologists of today were the little people of yesterday reading dinosaur books, creating dinosaur models and playing with dinosaur action figures. Things You'll Need
- Stick
- Flat section of clean wet sand
- 5 gallons of sand (depending on the size of the sculpture)
- Rocks, shells or small bits of junk

Fill up the entire outline with the sand so that it stands out from the flat ground. Then, pat the sand flat. Add larger amounts of sand around the bottom of the body to give the dino a bigger tummy. Put a little more sand on top of the legs compared to the bottom for powerful thighs. Where the legs connect to the body, draw a small line with the stick so that the body parts are separate.

Place the shells on the brontosaurus' head where his eyes and nose would be. A smiley face is optional. Place small shells on the front of each foot for toenails.
