Instructions

    • 1
      The beginning of the brontosaurus

Draw a small oval in the sand with the stick. This is his head. From the back of the oval, draw two very long parallel diagonal lines for the neck. Connect them to a large oval for his body.

    • 2
      Complete brontosaurus outline

Draw four rectangles for legs at the bottom of the oval body. Then draw a long looping tail to finish the outline of the sand brontosaurus.

    • 3

Fill up the entire outline with the sand so that it stands out from the flat ground. Then, pat the sand flat. Add larger amounts of sand around the bottom of the body to give the dino a bigger tummy. Put a little more sand on top of the legs compared to the bottom for powerful thighs. Where the legs connect to the body, draw a small line with the stick so that the body parts are separate.

    • 4

Place the shells on the brontosaurus' head where his eyes and nose would be. A smiley face is optional. Place small shells on the front of each foot for toenails.
