Apply face makeup. Use a brush or damp sponge to apply your foundation. If you notice any streaks, you can fix them easily by dampening the sponge and blending the makeup into your skin. If you have imperfections or blemishes, conceal them with your concealer. Set your face makeup with face powder.

Create the signature mole. Marilyn Monroe always had a mole on the left side of her face right above her lip. Use either a dark brown pencil eyeliner or dark brown liquid liner to create the mole. Many individuals prefer using the pencil because it is easier to create the correct mole shape. Carefully create the mole using your eyeliner.

Do the eye makeup. Since Marilyn Monroe often used bright red lipstick, she would tone down her eye shadow. Use a light taupe eye shadow all over your lid. If you desire more definition, contour your eye using an angled brush and a dark brow matte eye shadow. Apply black liquid eyeliner to your top eyelid.

Apply eyelashes. Once your eye makeup is complete, it’s time to open up those eyes with some fake eyelashes. Try the eyelashes on your eyes prior to applying the adhesive. If they are too big, carefully trim them using scissors. Once they are correctly sized, apply the eyelash adhesive to the eyelash base. Carefully apply them making sure they are correctly positioned before they dry.

Apply blush. It is essential to use blush so that your complexion doesn’t look washed out. Use a nude pink cheek color. Use a blush brush to carefully apply it to the apples of your cheeks. If you apply too much color, use your facial powder to blend the color so that it is softer.

Apply lipstick. Choose a red lipstick that best suits your skin tone. Often times, a burnt red suits many skin tones. Line your lips with a lip liner and then fill in your lips with the lipstick. If you desire a glossier look, use a sheer or red lip gloss on top of your lipstick.

Tips & Warnings
Use a foundation brush to apply foundation. The brush will help you achieve and airbrushed looked.
Don’t be slow when applying your eyelashes. Once the adhesive is applied, they dry pretty quickly. It is important to have them in place before they dry. Otherwise, you will be left with uncomfortable eyelashes that don’t fit correctly.
