Instructions

    • 1

Research and attend teleseminars. This will help you get the structure, interaction and strategy to create your own teleseminar.

    • 2

Decide on a subject. If you own a business, it would be easy to have it about some aspect of your business. For example, a copywriter could do a teleseminar on business writing.

    • 3

Create a schedule. How often do you want to have a seminar? The schedule of your teleseminar series will depend on the subject matter and your availability.

    • 4

Book a conference call center. The easiest is Free Conference Call which allows you to have 99 callers. In the beginning this may be ample. Some systems allow up to 1000 for free. For more than that, you will have to pay. Most of the systems are available at any time, so you won't be impeded by someone else needing the system.

    • 5

Market your teleseminar with fliers and online systems like Teleclass Catalog which actually does the registration for you and gives you a class list with participant emails.

    • 6

Teach your first class. Make the students feel welcome.

    • 7

Follow up with your students.Your students are now on your email list so you can market your services and products to them.

Tips & Warnings

  • Give a call to action at least four times during the hour.

  • Record your call as it can be sold later as a product.

  • Sell transcripts prior to the call to the students.

  • Don't give up on teleseminars if no one shows, just figure out how you can make the topic appealing.
