Step 1
When this rake is fully extended, it is your average rake. Similar to a spring rake, use this setting for raking leaves and smoothing out the soil in a newly planted garden to give it that finished look.

Step 2
Adjust the rake to half its width so you can fit into the small spaces. Adjust to fit between shrubs and perennials, narrow garden strips, behind pots, under stairs, and when you need less space between the “fingers.”

Step 3
Now fold the rake up so that it's at its narrowest width. This setting is excellent for cleaning the leaves out of bird baths, raking that edge along the grass, sweeping away debris along a curb, and squeezing into those narrowest of garden spaces.
Plus, this folded up rake now fits easier in the garden shed and takes less space. It’s a pretty good investment.
