Just like any exercise machine there's always risks involved but you can minimize of having bruises by taking extra careful in your own actions.
Safety labels are included to avoid injury so do not ignore those fine prints in your exercise machine.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Ask your friends or family how they lose weight and stay safe by using their treadmill at home if they have one. Sometimes safety rule is easy to apply when someone demonstrate it in person for effective results or safety exercise.

  2. Step 2

If in case, you lost control of the speed make it sure that your treadmill has an automatic shutdown.

  3. Step 3

Test the speed before setting it to the high speed that you do not have any idea about the possible results to yourself. At one time, I was using a treadmill from my friend, believed me I had bruises in my knees because I pretend that I know how to use it. I actually set it a speed that I cannot keep up and it screws me up for sure.

  4. Step 4

When you start the machine, position your body correctly. Stay as you are walking everyday normally. Do not keep racing your arms anywhere because that will lead to injury if ever you will slide to other side of the treadmill.

  5. Step 5

But if it's a hassle for you to do it alone then go to your local gymnasium. You have your fitness trainer and it's a good place to meet new people also. So enjoy!
