Clean a Laptop Keyboard

Have a filthy laptop keyboard that needs to be cleaned but have no idea how to do so? Here's an easy way that will take no more than two minutes of your time!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Can of compressed air
  1. Step 1

Take your laptop in hand and open it on a flat surface.

  2. Step 2

With the can of compressed air in hand, tilt it slightly and press the nozzle down. DO NOT POINT IT UPSIDE DOWN. A toxic chemical will come out if you do so. This can be harmful to you so avoid it at all costs.

  3. Step 3

Spray compressed air along the keys carefully until covering each one. Dust and particles will most likely fly out. Stay out of the direction of the dust. Continue to do this step until you feel that all of the dust and filth is gone or until you see no more coming out of the computer keyboard.

  4. Step 4

    Behold your clean computer!

Tips & Warnings
  • Always make sure you keep the compressed air can tilted to the side while cleaning.
  • Stay out of the direction of the canned air.
  • NEVER point the can of compressed air upside down. Bad chemicals will come out.
