Ink is a tough stain to tackle. Here are some home remedies to removing ink stains.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Remove ink on carpets with cornstarch

    Mix cornstarch with milk to make a paste. Apply the paste to the ink stain. Allow paste to dry on the carpet for a few hours, then brush with an dry scrub brush and vacuum it up.

  2. Step 2

    Remove ink on skin with nail polish remover

    Use a little nail polish remover on a cotton ball to wipe the ink off of your skin. Wash skin with soap and water.

  3. Step 3

    Remove ink stains on clothes with rubbing Alcohol

    Soak the ink spot in rubbing alcohol for a 10m to 15 minutes before putting the clothing in the wash.

    Another method for clothing is to use vinegar. Wet the stain with some white vinegar, then mix a paste of 2 parts vinegar to 3 parts cornstarch and rub onto the ink stain. Let the paste dry overnight before putting it in the washer.
