How to make all wheat banana nut muffins

Here is a great way to enjoy banana nut muffins that are healthy and satisfying.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup all wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup quick cooking oatmeal
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 smashed banana
  • 1/3 cup peacans
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees and grease muffin pan.

  2. Step 2

    Mix together flour baking powder, baking soda, brown sugar, oatmeal, sugar, salt, and peacans.

  3. Step 3

    Add in all remaining ingredients and stir until well incorporated.

  4. Step 4

    Fill muffin tins 2/3 full and bake for 15 minutes or until the center of the muffing springs back when pushed with finger.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you don't like peacans you can substitute any type of nuts you like.
