Angel Costumes are Popular

Halloween Costumes need to have personality, fun and a bit of pizzaz for girls these days. Here are some of the popular picks for 2008.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Angels are always a hit for girls and fun to make. Tried and true over the ages, the halo, wings and even the gloves can be picked up from the dollar store. The actual body can be made out of a one piece gym suit (white of course) or a white set of shirts and shorts decorated. Or the old fashion way - by getting a full costume at the department store.

  2. Step 2

Fairies are next on the popular list. Who won't want to be like Tinkerbell? These costumes are easy to put together like the angels, but the real fairies are found online where elaborate selections of color and style are just waiting to be purchased.

  3. Step 3

Rock Star. You have to agree it is all Hannah Montana! This kid has brought all the young girls out to have their own instrument and singing their own tunes. If your Rock Star is in the house, you can have a great time!

  4. Step 4

A more traditional costume that is popular this year is the wicked witch. Pointed hat, curled up nose and those crazy orange and striped stockings are all part of her blackness. Fun and easy.

  5. Step 5

Who could forget the princess? Not on Halloween! Girls love the princess and depending on their favorite color, she could be pink, white or even blue!

Tips & Warnings
  • Halloween is about having fun. Make sure your kids have safe costumes to walk and play in.
  • Your costume shouldn't be for one night. Explore parties and opportunities so you can dress up more than once.
  • Never provide costumes to children where they can't see and breath clearly.
