There are some people who are just compulsive liars. They lie about anything, even the smallest things. Nobody likes to be lied to, including the liar. Here are some things you can observe to catch that liar in the act.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A keen eye
  1. Step 1

Some liars will not make eye contact. But there are some that will look you straight in the eye and lie to you. Those are the dangerous ones.

  2. Step 2

Watch out when someone is talking to you and keep scratching their ear or the side of their head. They normally does this, when you ask them a question. You can tell that it's a fake scratch.

  3. Step 3

You may ask a question and the liar will act like he didn't hear you. He will ask you to repeat the question, his trick is to buy more time to come up with a lie.

  4. Step 4

When you are told something, from the liar, and when you repeat it back to the person at a later date, he don't even know what you are talking about. It's obvious, that he can't keep up with his lies. A liar uses a lie to cover another lie.

  5. Step 5

When someone is lying they get defensive easily if asked a question. They will even shed a few tears, to convince you that they are telling the truth.

  6. Step 6

When your intuition tells you that they are lying and you try to get the truth out. They will tell you the weirdest things ever, that doesn't even makes sense.

  7. Step 7

A liar will make you feel like you are seeing or hearing things. When you confront him about something that you heard or saw, he will tell you, "It's all in your head."
