In a previous How-to I covered how to convert celsius to Fahrenheit. Now in this one I want to show you how to calculate fahrenheit if given the degrees in celsius.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Excel
  1. Step 1

    Open Excel

  2. Step 2

    In cell "A1" type in "Celsius"

  3. Step 3
    Headers
    Headers

    In cell "B1" type in "Fahrenheit"

  4. Step 4
    Formula
    Formula

    In cell "B2" type in the formula that converts celsius to fahrenhiet. The formula is written as:
    =(9/5)*A2+32

  5. Step 5
    Final Results
    Final Results

    Currently the value defaults to 32 as it reads the value under celsius, in this case a blank cell, as zero. Enter a new value in cell "A2" to see what the Fahrenheit equivalent is.
