The making of an online Tic - Tac - Toe game is easy when you have the code already written. Take a look at, do it and play it.
It is yours to make and fun to play. Amaze your friends with it...

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • The images
  • The JavaScript code
  • Text editor or Dreamweaver or Frontpage, etc. software
  • A website where you can run the game
  1. Step 1

    The Images: You can make your own images or copy from the resources link.
    If you are going to make them you will need 3 images. 1 X image size 100x100 pixels, 1 O image size 100x100 pixels, 1 square blank size 100 x 100 pixels. The blank image is invisible at the resources link unless you highlight it.

    The JavaScript Code can be found and it is yours to keep at the RESOURCES link, at the bottom. Because it is too long to write it in here, just copy and paste into your text editor or any software you use to make HTML code.

  3. Step 3
    O image
    O image

    If you are using your own website, or your own links, you will have to make changes as follow : Line 12, 15, 18 / Replace the name of the links with your own. Line 43, use your own words to explain the game. Line 185 "the square is taken, choose another". Line 213 "the game is ended play again"

  4. Step 4

    Upload your code, images, replace words and have fun!

Tips & Warnings
  • if you make your own images use different colors for the X and the O.
  • You can replace the English or the Spanish words to another language.
  • Instead of the X or the O you can use another images, just make sure to name them as if they were x.jpg or o.jpg
  • Do not change the code because if you do it may not work. It is Ok to change words to your own language and be careful if you change the images; Use same sizes (100x100 pixels)
