1. Visit Etsy.com and create an account.

2. Take good pictures of your crafts or handmade items and write thorough descriptions of them.

3. List your items on Etsy.com. The process is pretty intuitive but clicking on Etsy's sell button will give you more information if you get stuck.

4. Promote your Etsy shop by participating in the Etsy community and by placing links to your shop elsewhere on the web.

Tips & Warnings

• Producing multiples of the same item, rather than lots of individual items, will save you lots of listing time. Since listings have to put up one at a time, if you have multiples of the same item you only have to create that particular listing once.
