Look for a good concealer. It shouldn't clog your pores, but it should be powerful enough to leave your face looking clean and clear. It's also important that it matches your skin tone. A darker concealer can accentuate the pimple bump, and a concealer that's too light can leave the red of the pimple bleeding through the concealer. Go for an exact skin tone match.

2
Wash your hands and face completely before applying concealer. Let them dry thoroughly. No concealer should be touched until your hands are clean and dry.

3
Use your fingertip or a new cosmetic sponge to lightly apply concealer to the pimple. You'll want to get a dab on the fingertips or sponge. It's important to start small. Conceal the pimple and spread the rest of the concealer around the area. The idea is to completely cover the affected area and its surrounding skin. It should all blend together.

4
Let this dry. Time it if necessary. Make sure it is thoroughly dry before proceeding. Put on an extra layer if it is still showing or if it's a really big pimple. Let the extra layer dry if necessary. Only use the extra layer if necessary, since it could destroy the efforts of your previous work.

5
Apply foundation around the area of the concealer. Try not to place foundation on top of the concealer unless you are having problems blending. Work until the entire area is blended together. You want to look as though you are not wearing makeup. That's the success of a great concealer.
-
6
Powder your face, including the area of the concealer. Do so with a gentle touch. You want to avoid pressure on the pimple. Any pressure to the pimple could lead to scarring.
