Go online and get tickets or purchase tickets once you arrive at the aquarium. There is also a slight fee for parking if you do not take mass transit, so have your money ready. Always remember where you parked by using a landmark. Do not forget to view the outside of the aquarium, including the "living wall."
-
2
Get a brochure with a schedule and a map to plan out your day. Also take note of any special events. There are many shows and talks held throughout the aquarium hours. This will help you make the most of your visit so you do not waste any time while at the aquarium.

3
Catch a few shows and talks so you can learn more about the animals. Or consider an animal encounter (for an extra fee). There are a variety of animals for your choosing including whales and dolphins.
-
4
Stroll through the inside of the aquarium for encounters with sharks, whales, turtles and starfish. There is also an Amazon rain forest and tropical fish in the Tropic Zone. You can even see a replica of a reef and come across an octopus. The lighting and tunnels make it feel like an authentic underwater marine experience.
-
5
Go outside for more aquarium exhibits. Here you will see animals do their tricks in a show environment, which is part of the admission price. Just outside of this is Stanley Park, which you can also take a stroll through or pack a picnic and have it later if the weather permits.
-
6
Keep the kids busy with the hands-on children's exhibits. These are all housed together, and kids can color and learn about their favorite aquarium creatures.
