Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Cut rectangles out of your flannel to measure 18 inches by 7 inches. Flannel can be an old sheet or clearance fabric at your local craft store.

  2. Step 2

Place the right sides of two pieces together. The material you want on the outside should be touching at this time.

  3. Step 3

Sew around the outside with a straight stitch. Back stitch at the beginning and end to lock your stitches in and prevent fraying. Sew the two long sides and one short side. With the fourth side, sew in about 2 inches on either side to leave a hole about 3 inches wide.

  4. Step 4

Pull the material through this hole to turn the bag right-side out.

  5. Step 5

Fill the bag with 5 cups of corn feed. There should be enough room left to move the corn around. If the bag is not two-thirds full then add a little more.

  6. Step 6

Now fold in the material around the hole to create a finished edge. Sew the hole closed and you're done.

  7. Step 7

Microwave your pack on high for five minutes. Enjoy the warmth during the cold months, on sore muscles, or any other way you can think of.
