How to Treat Fluid in the Ear

Fluid build up in the inner ear causes many different heath problems. Childhood ear infections, Swimmer's Ear and chronic dizziness are all caused by fluid build up. Removing the fluid and treating the infection are crucial to healing. In addition, prolonged fluid in the ear contributes to childhood hearing loss.

Instructions

1. Place 2 to 4 drops of garlic oil in each ear morning and night. Garlic is a natural antibiotic and antifungal. While it will not dry up the fluid, garlic oil will eliminate any present infection and keep new infection from occurring.

2. Talk to your doctor about the "Ear Popper." The Ear Popper is a device that shoots air up the nose and into the Eustachian tube. This opens the tube and allows the fluid to drain properly.

3. Place 3 to 6 drops of colloidal silver in each ear morning and night. Like garlic oil, the colloidal silver will eliminate infection and reduce pain.

4. As a last resort, consider having tubes surgically implanted in the ears. This surgery, while routine carries the risk of complications, including permanent hearing loss.
