How to Make a Shabby Chic Jewelry Holder

Things You'll Need
- Used wooden-handled rake with all of the teeth intact
- Sandpaper
- Pastel paint
- Paint brush
- Small plastic dish

Lightly sand the wooden handle of the rake in a up and down motion.

Open up the can of paint and pour a small amount into a small plastic dish.

Place the sanded rake on a table along with the dish of paint and the paint brush, and paint the handle of the rake. Apply two coats of paint. Allow to dry for 24 hours.

Lightly sand areas of the rake to give it a shabby chic look. Make the wood from the rake show through the paint to give it a well-worn look.

Hang the rake on the wall, metal side up with the teeth facing toward you. Add your necklaces, bracelets and rings to the teeth of the rake to display your jewelry.
