1
Decide whether to use real grapevine or fake grapevine. There are several benefits to each. With real grapevine, you can enjoy the scents of fresh foliage and also enjoy the way real plants look. However, fake grapevine will last longer and will not die. Therefore, you need to decide first which type to use.
-
2
Purchase the grapevine. If you are using real grapevine, you will need to buy it from a store that sells real plants. Fake grapevine can be purchased at department stores or home decor stores.

3
Choose an area in your home in which to use the grapevine. Remember that grapevine must have something to cling onto. Therefore, you can use it above a window, on top of a piece of furniture, or somewhere else that has something for it to attach to.
-
4
Use one branch of grapevine at a time. Working carefully, twine the branch from one area of the space you wish to decorate to another. Remember that the wild grapevine will twine its way onto things, so try to move from one thing to another as a natural plant would.
-
5
Use twist ties to secure the grapevine into place. With real grapevine, you can train it to grow from one place to another. With fake grapevine, you must secure it with a twist tie.
-
6
Dust fake grapevine occasionally, making sure tha all of the vines remain where you have placed them. With real grapevine, remove the decoration when the grapevine is no longer alive or does not look good.
