How to Print a Two Sided Document on an HP Officejet 5600 Series Printer
The HP Officejet 5600 series of all-in-one printers is a great choice for small business, home business and personal use, because it combines the multi-function features of a scanner, printer, fax machine and copier in a compact design. The Officejet 5600 is capable of printing on a variety of types and sizes of paper including letter, legal and A4 paper, as well as specialty papers such as photographic and transparency papers. There are also some handy techniques that will allow you to print two-sided documents.

Select the type of paper you wish to load into the paper tray. Insure the paper is all of one size and is free of curled edges, rips, wrinkles, tears or any metallic objects such as staples or paper clips and is loaded into the paper tray with the short edge forward.

Push the stack of paper forward until it stops. Slide the paper width guide toward the right until it is snug against the edge of the stack of paper. Insure the stack of paper does not exceed the the height of the paper edge guide.

Open the computer application that houses the document you wish to print. Open the document you wish to print. Move your cursor to the" File" menu. Click with your mouse to open the "File" menu.

Move your cursor to the "Print" command in the drop-down menu to open the "Print" dialog box. Select the HP Officejet 5600 Series as your default printer.

Locate the "Page Range Option" in the middle of the dialog box. Enter the odd-numbered pages of the document you wish to print, separating each value with a comma. Click the "OK" button.

Wait for the Officejet 5600 printer to print your pages. Remove the printed pages from the output tray. Reload the pages onto the top of the stack of paper in the paper tray with the printed side up, top side in first.

Move your cursor to the "File" menu. Click with your mouse to open the "File" menu. Locate the "Page Range Option" in the middle of the dialog box. Enter the even-numbered pages of the document you wish to print separating each value with a comma. Click "OK."

Tips & Warnings
Always check to insure the HP Officejet is idle and silent before loading paper into the paper tray.
Do not force the stack of paper any further once it stops.
