How to Cheat at Rolling Dice
Dice games have always been an exciting endeavor for many people. The ability to take control of the dice and throw them sets dice games apart from games that are based purely on random chance. There is a degree of human interaction and control. While this makes playing with dice an exciting proposition, it also opens the door for cheating. One of the most basic methods of cheating with dice is to “load” the dice, which weights one side and makes it more likely to be the side that lands down. This increases the odds of rolling a particular number. If you are crazy enough to cheat at rolling dice, read this guide to learn how it’s done.

How to Prepare the Dice
-
1
Decide what number you would like to try to roll with your dice. You can only weight the dice to increase the probability of one number being rolled. Decide what number would be most beneficial for you to be able to roll.
-
2
Identify which numbers will need to be drilled in order to roll the number you selected in Step 1. To do this, look at the number on the opposite side of what you want to roll. For example, if you would like to increase the odds of rolling a 4, then you would look at the side of the dice that is opposite of the 4. This would be a 3. In this example, the 3 is the side that you will want to drill.

3
Secure the dice in a vice. Place the side you will be drilling facing up. You will be drilling these dice. You do not want to hold them steady with your hand because of their tiny size. It is much safer to use a vice to hold them in place while you drill.
-
4
Use a small drill bit. It should be no larger in diameter than the dots on your dice. You will use it to drill holes into the dots. Only drill where the dots are located. Try to drill straight down to prevent drill holes from intersecting or cracking your dice. You do not need to drill a deep hole. Make the hole no more than 25% of the way through the dice. A more shallow drill is preferred.
-
5
Repeat this process as many times is as necessary to prepare all of the dice that you will be weighting.
How to Melt the Lead
-
6
Find a safe area to melt the lead. Because you will be melting metal with an open flame, the safest area is outdoors or in an isolated area of a garage. Above all, make sure there are no combustible materials in the immediate vicinity of the flames.
-
7
Set up two bricks, side by side, with a gap between them. The gap between the bricks should be as wide as possible. It shouldn't be so wide that you can’t place the tuna can across the top of the bricks. It is through this gap that you will apply the flame directly to the bottom of the can.
-
8
Straddle the empty tuna can (or similar metal container) across the top of the bricks. This will provide an area for you to melt the lead into a liquid state.
-
9
Place several lead fishing weights into the tuna can. You can just drop the weights into the can straight from the package, but they will probably melt faster if you use a hammer to flatten them out first. This will make them thinner so that the heat can penetrate them completely in a shorter amount of time.
-
10
Light your propane torch. Position it so that the flame is situated in the gap between the bricks, blowing onto the bottom of the can. Lead melts at very low temperatures so it will not take much before it turns to a liquid state. Do not inhale any fumes that are produced as a result of this process.
How to Load Your Dice
-
11
Use a set of pliers to squeeze in the sides on the tip of a spoon. You do not want to completely fold the spoon in half, but you do want to make a very small, narrow passage at the tip. The spoon is capable of being used as a funnel to direct the liquid lead into the holes you drilled in the dice.
-
12
Use the spoon to scoop up a small amount of lead. Slowly pour it into the holes that you drilled in the dice. Be very careful to not overfill the holes. Be cautious with the handling of the lead. Remember, this is molten metal you are working with.
-
13
Allow the lead enough time to cool and harden. The lead will cool very quickly and return to its solid state. Giving the lead two hours of cooling time should be more than sufficient.
-
14
Use a fine tip paintbrush to pain over the top of the lead. It should look like dots on the dice. Use a color that matches the other dots on the dice. If you cannot find a color that it a good match, then repaint all of the dots on all sides. All of them must be the same color if you intend to pull this off.
-
15
Roll the dice like normal. The side with the lead should have a tendency to land face down. This may not occur every single roll, but it is much more probable than with non-weighted dice.

Tips & Warnings
Casino dice are difficult to load without detection. These dice are usually transparent, and any load that is placed inside the dice can be seen easily.
If you have trouble pouring hot lead into the dice without cracking them, try drilling holes in a block of wood to pour the lead into. After it has hardened, you can remove the lead slug from the wood. Super glue it into the holes you drilled in the dice.
Never attempt to cheat at rolling dice in a casino. You will be caught easily and will be arrested on felony charges.
