1
Decide what you want to draw a princess monkey doing. Capturing action is the key to convincing monkey pictures, so sketch it in first. For example, if you want your monkey swinging from the trees, make a few light lines to indicate where the trees will be and how the princess will be positioned.

2
Keep using a pencil, but make slightly darker lines to sketch in the princess monkey herself. Make a nice, round body and head, then add skinny arms and legs with fingers on the hands and feet. If you can work in more action with the hands and feet, like holding onto something, so much the better.

3
Sketch in a dress and tiara or crown. Once you've got them in place, go back and erase any body lines that should be hidden by the clothing.
-
4
Add in the details. Don't forget round monkey ears, a smile, leaves on the trees, maybe a little fur, and plenty of decorations on the dress and crown. After all, this is a monkey princess that you are drawing.

5
Color in your picture. Add glitter if you want, especially on the dress and tiara. This can be a very convincing way to draw a princess monkey because monkeys normally aren't very glittery. Go over your pencil lines with pen if you want them to show up better.

Tips & Warnings
One of the most confusing things about monkey princesses is that they can be very easy to confuse with monkey queens. If you draw a monkey princess and a monkey queen, make sure that the princess is smaller.
