Instructions

    • 1

Find a small box to use for the gag. This should be able to fit into the palm of your hand and have a cover or a flap that can be taken off. An animal cracker box or something smaller would be perfect.

    • 2

Cut a small hole in the bottom of the box. You will want to make this hole as small as possible, so there is just enough room to put your finger in.

    • 3

Put cotton or cotton balls on the inside of the box, covering up the hole. One layer is fine, because you do not want to overfill the box.

    • 4

Coat the cotton with some baby powder. This will help add some baby powder to your finger to make it look more dead.

    • 5

Drizzle a little fake blood around. Do not put too much or it may make the effect unrealistic.

    • 6

Stick your finger through the hole and put it flat on the cotton. Make sure that the hole is not visible and it looks like a dead finger is just lying there. Add a little fake blood to the base of the finger.

    • 7

Close the box and then approach one of your friends. Tell him or her that you found a severed finger in a nearby location or at your house and you want to show them.

    • 8

Open the box and watch his reaction as he stares at the finger. Let him peer in closer to see if it is the real thing and right as he gets close, wiggle your finger around and point it up to scare him.
