Work PSP Internet Radio

Despite a somewhat rocky beginning, Sony's PlayStation Portable is proving itself to be a viable competitor; however, not completely dethroning Nintendo's GameBoy and DS hand held consoles. A PSP
A wireless Internet cConnection
The latest PSP firmware

Step 1

Make sure that you have the latest firmware for your PSP. You can do this by checking the current version in system information. To get internet radio, you have to have version 3.8. If you don't, download the newest firmware upgrade from the Sony PlayStation Portable website.
Step 2

Select "Internet Radio Player" under the "Network" tab on your PSP. The unit will then attempt to connect to a wireless access point and obtain your IP address. The system is "connecting", so to speak.
Step 3

Select "yes" when asked if you want to "run the plug in embedded in this page." This will make sure that everything displays properly once the Internet Radio Player loads.
Step 4

Scroll down to browse the list of available genres. You can choose one by simply clicking on it, and the station will play automatically. If you have a specific internet radio channel in mind, you can type it in by selecting "Other Stations" from the main menu. Congratulations, you can now listen to streaming internet radio wherever you go!
