1. Crawl slowly out of the downed chopper. The level begins after your helicopter was involved in a nuclear explosion and cashes, so the first thing you have to do is escape the wreckage.

2. Stand up once you've crawled out of the cashed 'copter. You will be surrounded by some of the most simultaneously beautiful and horrific imagery ever committed to a video game, so explore the map a little.

3. Wait a minute for the level to end. After about a minute after exiting the helicopter, your character will look up toward the sky, and his vision will go completely white. In short, he bites it. The game will then continue from here. You've done it--you've beat the "Aftermath" level, and yes, it was that easy.
