How to effectively teach your child at home.

Would you like to teach your child at home. But you don' think you will be effective. Then you may want to try these tips.

1. Make sure you develop consistency. You will definitely want to stick to an academic schedule. A schedule that will be followed daily. Don't take teaching lightly. If your child senses that you are not serious, they won't be either.

2. You are your child's best teacher. Let them know that you want them to do their very best and that you are their to assist them with any questions that they may have.

3. Make sure that you are teaching course required material, in addition to whatever else you feel will make your child a well rounded individual.

4. Don't assume that your child has learned the material that you've taught. You should give quizes and/or test to asses their knowledge of the content material.
