Tips & Warnings
Most liquid plastics contain a heat stabilizer in the compound. If the one you are using does not, add approximately 3 oz. per gallon of plastic. The heat stabilizer should stop the plastic from burning and help maintain the color of your plastic worms.
If you want to add a little shine to your plastic worms, stir in a heaping spoonful of glitter to the liquid plastic before heating.
Make your plastic worms in a well ventilated area of your home, garage or workshop.
Do not heat the worm molds in the microwave, even if they are made of hard plastic.
