How to Make Favors for a Fourth of July Picnic

Party favors have long been given to guests attending a party as a thank from the party host. Knowing what kind of materials you need and where to get them is half the battle. Then with some basic assembly and creativity you will have great favors to give your guests.Put some red, white and blue curling ribbon on your favor and it will give the impression of a firework exploding.

Things You'll Need:

• Patriotic plastic glasses
• Red, white and blue candies
• Red, white and blue curling ribbons

1. 

   Purchase patriotic colored mugs or plastic glasses along with someone red, white, and blue, suckers or wrapped candies.

2. 

   Cut the red, white, and blue curling ribbon in lengths of about eight inches.

3. 

   Place the candies into the mug or plastic glasses with some colorful suckers sticking wildly out of the top.

4. Tie the red, white and blue curling ribbons around the stems of the glasses. Or if you're using mugs, place it around the handles. Once they are tied tightly, use a pair of scissors to curl each end of the ribbons.

5. Give one glass of candy to each picnic guest and they can take them home as is or remove the candy and use the glass or mug to enjoy their beverages during the picnic party.
