How to Increase Your Odds in Craps
All casino games are built with odds favoring the house. But amazingly, the craps table can have the best odds toward the player. With the many options on the table, you have several choices to try and increase those odds in your favor.

1
Remember that the odds never tip completely in your favor; they'll always favor the house. The best you can hope for is increasing them as you enjoy the game and don't lose everything.
-
2
Keep your bets small, placing no more than 5 or 6 dollars on one spot. Try betting the 6 or 8 for double odds, then reducing the bet after one number wins. This way, you should come out on top.

3
Use the Pass Line or Don't Pass bar, depending on the shooter's confidence. If he looks good, go with him on the Pass Line. If not, take the Don't Pass bar. Confidence and luck can make the difference more than anything.
-
4
Try a Free Odds bet after betting the Pass Line. Place a second bet on the line after the point is determined, and the house has no advantage on this bet. You must place a bet on the Pass Line before the point to do this.
-
5
Avoid the Field as a general rule. Play it only once in the game if you feel lucky, and don't bet a lot on it. You can win on many numbers, but you lose on the most common numbers.
-

Walk away if you increase your holdings by more than 20 percent. Your chances of winning any more than this are very slim. If you double your holdings, definitely walk away.

Tips & Warnings
Keep a low profile if you're betting the Don't Pass bar and winning. Most of the other players should be losing, and they probably won't like your celebration.
Know the casino's game rules; each casino can differ slightly. For example: When betting the Don't Pass bar, a roll of 12 is usually a push. In Reno and Lake Tahoe, however, the 2 is the push.
