Instructions

    • 1

Massage a very small amount of baby oil into all the areas where you will be waxing. The oil helps to soften the hair and make it easier to remove; however, using too much can prevent the wax from sticking. If you find that you have applied too much oil once you get started, a dusting of baby powder is an easy solution.

    • 2

Find a comfortable position to do the bikini wax. It is generally easiest to sit on the floor with your back leaning against a wall or other object; however, do what works for you. Also, make sure that you have at least one large mirror to help you with a neat application of wax.

    • 3

Start at the back, near the buttocks, and slowly work your way forward. Apply a small amount of either hot or cold wax to the region in the direction of hair growth using a small applicator spatula or wooden Popsicle stick. Apply only enough to cover a region about the size of your cotton strips.

    • 4

Place a cotton waxing strip over the wax and press down firmly in the direction your hair grows. Hold your skin as taut as possible and the remove the strip quickly, pulling it off against the natural direction of hair growth.

    • 5

Repeat these techniques until all of the hair is removed along your bikini line and then apply more baby oil to help you remove any remaining wax.
