How to Make Raspberry Lavender Vinegar

Things You'll Need
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 2 (1-qt.) glass canning jars with lids
- 4 cups white wine vinegar
- Stainless steel saucepan
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 6 sprigs fresh or dried lavender, divided
- Potato masher or fork
- Plastic wrap
- Strainer
- Decorative bottles or jars
- 3 cups red wine vinegar
- 3 tbsp. lavender buds, dried
- Airtight glass container
- 10 drops lavender essential oil

Put 1 cup of fresh raspberries in 2 (1-qt.) jars and set it aside.

Place 4 cups of white wine vinegar in a stainless steel saucepan, and add 1/3 cup of sugar and 1 sprig of lavender.

Heat the mixture, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves, but don't allow it to boil.

Pour the hot vinegar and sugar mixture over the raspberries in the jar, and mash them with a potato masher or fork.

Cover the jar with plastic wrap and attach the lid securely. Place the jar in a cool, dark place and leave it for 3 weeks. Shake the jar daily.

Pour the strained lavender vinegar in decorative bottles or jars, and put a sprig of lavender in each bottle or jar. Use in cooking as desired.

Easy Lavender Vinegar

Place 3 cups of red wine vinegar and 3 tbsp. of dried lavender buds in a stainless steel saucepan.
