A great way to customize the look of your email messages in Microsoft Outlook 2007 is by setting a default theme. A theme will use certain fonts, colors and other designs to create a singular look for your email messages. This default theme will be applied each time you compose a new email message.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Microsoft Outlook 2007
  1. Step 1

Start Microsoft Outlook 2007. Choose the "Tools" menu and click "Options" to bring up the Options dialog box.

  2. Step 2

Select the "Mail Format" tab at the top, and then click the "Stationery and Fonts" button. The Signatures and Stationery dialog box will open. Verify that the "Personal Stationery" tab at the top of the dialog box is selected.

  3. Step 3

Push the "Theme" button at the top to open the Theme or Stationery dialog box.

  4. Step 4

Choose a theme you would like to apply as the default theme from the "Choose a Theme" scroll box. As you click on the theme to select it, you will see a preview of theme on the right side.

  5. Step 5

Close each of the three dialog boxes by clicking the "OK" button three times. When you compose a new email message, the new default theme will be applied to the email message.
