A centrifugal juicer is a cylindrical kitchen device used to make fruit and vegetable juices, soup stocks and purees. Make sure the centrifugal juicer is properly assembled before you use it. Operation of the centrifugal juicer varies depending on the brand.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Wipe the base of the centrifugal juicer with a wet sponge. Wash the juice cup, cutter/strainer, pulp bin, food chute, food pusher and juicer cover with soap and warm water. Assemble the parts of the juicer according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  2. Step 2

Cut some fruits or vegetables into small pieces. Wash the fruits and vegetables, and remove any seeds, stones or pits. Make sure there is just enough food to fill the food chute located on top of the juicer cover. Set the ingredients aside.

  3. Step 3

Check the juice cup and pulp bin to ensure they're locked into place. Plug in the centrifugal juicer.

  4. Step 4

Turn on the centrifugal juicer. Add the food pieces, one at a time, into the food chute. Extract juice by using the food pusher that comes with the machine. Press the chopped fruit or vegetables gently with the food pusher to get the most juice.

  5. Step 5

Turn off the juicer to empty the pulp bin when it gets full. This prevents any clogs that may cause the juicer to malfunction. Repeat Step 4 if you want to make additional quantities of juice.

  6. Step 6

Pour the juice into another container after powering off the machine. Unplug the machine, then wash the cutter/strainer, food chute and other components of the centrifugal juicer.
