Whether you currently work for an organization or are just starting out in your field, training is a big part of any job. With career advancement, technology and program improvements you will learn new things throughout your career. There are a number of resources and training opportunities available either in a classroom environment or online that will fit your needs and also your schedule.

Determine if you would be more comfortable in a classroom environment. Some students are not disciplined enough to do independent job training.

Look online for some of the classroom training opportunities. View their course catalog offerings and schedules for availability. Search their database for a school located near you.

Call and schedule an appointment to visit a couple of schools or training centers. Look around the facility and speak with an adviser to determine if the training center is a good fit for you.

Schedule an online training class. These classes area led by an instructor and have a set schedule. Homework and study are part of the program.

Take advantage of applicable webinars. Schedule your webinar, receive confirmation and join the program in real time. For attendance you will need only your computer, Internet access and a phone. An instructor will welcome you to the online class and begin the program.

View a recorded webinar at your leisure or at a more convenient time. Visit the company or school's website to view a list of all the available online demand webinars.

Apply for an internship opportunity. Work full or part time and get the hands on experience and training from employees already working in the field.
